The interesting thing is who they are not speaking with. They are meeting with Kathy Carter, Carlos Cordero, and Kyle Martino, who are considered the front runners, and Michael Winongrad, who perhaps helped himself most at the debate 2 weeks ago.

They are not speaking with Eric Wynalda. Which is a crippling blow to his path to election. If the Athletes side with Carter, she's almost guaranteed election. If they side with Cordero or Martino they become almost immediately the front runner. Siding with Winongrad could throw the entire thing into chaos.

Supposedly Martino and Wynalda have discussed throwing their votes behind the one with the best chance of winning. Who knows though.
