La Liga is trash. No depth beyond Madrid and Barcelona.

Well, trash may be taking it a bit too far. La Liga is a great league as demonstrated by European dominance over the last decade. However, dominance comes and goes. EPL has the advantage in $$ and coaches at the moment but most important for EPL is English is the main language, opening up marketing to millions. I like them both, but prefer La Liga due to the technical ability demonstrated by teams, even those not named Barca, RM, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla, etc....
