RE: OT: Officially The Official Soccer Thread
Took a half day to watch Argentina vs Venezuela and USA vs France at the bar with the games side by side. Argentina won and will play Brazil Tuesday in the Semifinals of the Copa America, I can't wait for that match. USA put on a good tactical performance however I was cheering for France. I'm sorry it's hard for me to cheer for these Pay to Play Suburbanites and these Female US fans at the bar were horrible. The reason The why the US Women are great is because the overwhelming majority of the rest of the World doesn't care about Women's football. The US Women have made it to the Semifinals of every World Cup and there is not much parity. The last 3 Mens World Cup Champions have failed to get out of the group stage at their next World Cup.
