A new show on Apple - Black Bird - is off to a tremendous start. Dennis Lehane wrote most of the screenplay - he's got a great track record with movies like Mystic River and Gone Baby Gone - but it's based on a real story about a criminal who was recruited to befriend a serial killer in prison and help identify some of his victims. Taron Egerton (Rocketman) is the criminal and Paul Walter Hauser (I, Tonya and Richard Jewell) as the serial killer headline the great cast (which also features Ray Liotta in one of his last roles before his recent death).
