I don't believe he meant to discredit the win. By all means you earned it and it appears you have a nice future with your coach and the freshman. But it is very frustrating even playing schools that have gyms that appear (at least on camera) to look like large high school gyms and that play in front of 1,500 or less nightly, much less get beaten by them. When you pour resources into a program, have a pretty rabid fan base, and strong tradition it is irritating to watch your team play in that environment, especially when they play so poorly.

You have a team that is going to be a tough out in the tourney and has a bright future ahead. That doesn't change the fact that your program doesn't garner much interest locally or beyond. I hope that changes, as your young kids deserve support. They are very good. Congratulations on the W. You deserved it.
