So basically the Sun Belt is getting shoved onto some new online ESPN+ thing that will cost a monthly subscription to watch. Sounds like an awful deal for them with respect to exposure. Will see how it bears out when the money comes out.

The advantage that ESPN+ will have over ESPN3 is that game are no longer going to be blacked out. You pay $5 a month and you can watch national broadcasts like Ohio State and Michigan or Georgia and Florida just like you can watch Sun Belt games there.

I'd still rather be on ESPN+ than CBS Sports and Bein, but that's just me.

And yes, with the addition of a CCG the payouts are going to go up.

That's absolutely not true unless the Ohio St Michigan game is being moved to ESPN+. Which it isn't of course.

ESPN+ isn't going to get you ESPN, ESPN 2 and ESPNU. It's separate. If you have those ESPN channels already you can then add ESPN+ streaming for an additional $5 or you can have ESPN+ only without the other ESPN channels for the $5 fee. But you most certainly do not get all the ESPN content for $5. So, take it all in you will only get the ESPN+ content only.

What my fellow Sun Belt brethren meant to say is OSU-Michigan will be streaming on ESPN+. But only the multiangle, Jim Harbaugh Khaki pants cam, and Brutus Buckeye go pro cam. etc. etc. Not the ESPN TV broadcast of the game.
