Last time I checked, "attackcoog" was no fan at all of any kind of G5 split from the P5. Unless I'm confusing him with someone else, IIRC he's posted many times that stuff like a separate G5 playoff would be suicide. He understands that while the P5 would thrive just fine without the G5, the G5 would sink into utter oblivion without the P5.

Which of course just means that to the extent that the G5 are making any money or having exposure opportunities at all now, it's because of their linkage with the P5 in the FBS. The G5 are basically welfare-piggybacking off the P5 right now.

And yet G5 fans demand more from the P5, like a 'rational' playoff. Seems rather ungrateful to me ... 07-coffee3
