If Appalachian State can go whip Michigan (that game should have been a blowout, even with a partially hurt Armanti Edwards), then how do we know they couldn't have won the Big Ten that year?

Because they also lost to Wofford and Georgia Southern that year?

Let's face it: Even thought that was a very good App-State team, the game over UM was a huge upset. Play it again 10 times and Michigan probably wins all 10.
