Well, if it does then we won't be under the same fig leaf any longer and they will have to deal with us as a competitor in the college football market. Which means they will be subject to anti-trust and fair competition regulation. Have to play fair when you are competition and not all one org.

At that point it would be best to seperate in all sports. No need to give them midweek baseball games and such. Their league can play each other in those sports.

Also, would need to bite the bullet and stop providing them with the extra home games. Let them travel to each other and be their own cupcakes.

We could then establish a rational playoff system.

The bowls will be interesting. Not a lot of filler teams when they only play each other and the bottom dwellers can no longer get 6 wins. Some bowls would have to go with us because not enough P5 teams for all of them.

They wouldn't get to make our rules for us anymore and would have no veto.

Would be quite an upheaval.

I bet they would rather not.


Why do you assume if they are no longer under the NCAA that they would have to have 6 wins?
