their 300 rpi is self imposed..their schedule is that bad.. they win enough conference games to be top 200 every year but they schedule so horribly every year

Houston in the 2015-16 season won 22 games but had a Kenpom SOS in the NON con of #350. Only 2 teams were worse. Then last year Houston had a Non Con SOS of #250 and this year its #246.

When they can start going undefeated or or 10-2 in their ****** non league schedule, then you work on upping the competition. But you need to build confidence and build a winning culture. Sometimes you do that on the backs of the worst teams in basketball.

So when I can count on Cincy upping the schedule?

UC normally schedules tougher. Supposedly this year was poor because of limited dates due to using NKU's arena.

Next year they have at least Ohio State, Xavier, UCLA, and Mississippi State out of conference that I am aware of.

Yep.

The BB&T arena thing even affected non conference scheduling. UC had to finish with 2 road games and had to ruin 2 senior nights.

The last week of the season, BB&T was already booked with the 9th region high school tourney.
