Fact is, these athletic facilities in Frisco will likely be better than anything most of you people have ever seen. And the town/area is certainly light years ahead of the shitholes that most of you guys will be coming from. The Frisco area has big time restaurants, lots of hotels, world class shopping, multiple professional sporting events, etc...At least save your beeching and complaining until afterwards, when you know what you're talking about.

ive been to bham the last 3 years. coudlnt get away from work this week.
But i have been to that area. Several years ago my son played in a super series baseball event out at Craigs ranch.
We stayed in plano, That shopping area was new and the baseball stadium was just opened.
It is a very nice area. Any type food you want to put in your mouth. Plenty of golf courses. Southfork ranch nearby. As good as birmingham is this place offers more.
As far as the setup, its nothing that hasnt been seen when a big football arena is turned into basketball.
I went to the final 4 in nola in 87. They had bleachers pushed up on 3 sides and a big assed curtain blocking off the unused portions of the superdome.
