This. The issue isn't Frisco. It's the setup.

Yes, we knew conceptually what it was going to be, but the actual set up is much worse than I imagined.

This is the crux of the issue. Most of us aren't bitching about the location, we're bitching about the venue and the setup.

No matter where you host the tournament, someone will be unhappy about the travel distance. That's a given. However, at least have the venue resemble something close to a suitable Division I college basketball arena. This is the most crap-tastic, bush league arrangement I've ever seen. We should NEVER have 2 games played simultaneously unless an asteroid is about to obliterate the earth and we really, really want to crown a champion.
