Opening round on Tuesday at home court of higher seed.

Quarter Finals on Thursday at home court of higher seed.

Semi Finals and Championship on Saturday and Sunday in Nashville.

You get a day of travel in between, and a party in Nashville for the final four.

That would work if teams are regionally closer together. But for a conference that is from the Mid-Atlantic area to the western-most part of Texas through multiple time zones, it would be daunting.

If Marshall is the lower seed and has travel to play UTEP or UTSA, win and then travel to FIU or FAU, even on one day travel - logistically it would be exhausting.

How about including only the top 8 teams.

Quarters Sunday
Semis Wednesday
Finals Saturday

All games at higher seeds sites.

Yeah, travel will be a little tough for some, but if you don't like it, have a better regular season and improve your seeding so you play at home.
