Outside court yard with basketball goals to shoot on This area is really nice with enough good hotels to house all the teams and fans (Rice ladies team is staying at this hotel . I can look out my window and count 7...3 to 4 star hotels. tHe ford Center is 3/4 mile down the road. We went cheap...$65 a night for a hotel that's 1 to 2 years old and everything a 3 star should have. Days inn was $94 IN b'ham
