He doesn't agree that not getting these kids is the end of the world. .oh yeah and the larsons.

Memphis should never lose Memphis kids that we want in recruiting unless we are going up against Duke, KU, UK, etc.

That kills the Tubby haters because obviously they know more about NCAA caliber talent than a guy who has been to the tourney multiple times.

It wouldnt bother us at all that he gets non-Memphis players if he got any worth a damn. Pastner didnt get every Memphis kid but he also could go and get Will Barton out of Maryland and Shaq Goodwin out of Atlanta. Both McD's AAs.

Tubby doesnt want to recruit any kids that are highly rated. Him and his staff(minus Esposito) dont want to put the work into it. Hell, Tubby had Saul offering a scholly to a guy who was committed to Ouachita Baptist.

And to say Tubby doesnt want Memphis kids is completely false. He really wanted Alex Lomax and lost out to Wichita State. Which, no offense to WSU, but we shouldnt lose out to them for born and bred Memphis kids. He also has recruited Tyler Harris hard as well....looks like he is going to sign with Baylor, Misstake or UTK if Tubby comes back.

The bottom line is that Tubby and his staff are incapable of putting the effort forth to recruit in their own city let alone throughout the region or nationally at a level that will allow us to be successful.

Tubby doesn't want local kids because of the Lawson fall out and the fact that local people are telling these kids their superstars and they haven't even made it to college yet.

Memphis fans deserve everything they get. They have become obsessed with local recruits and recruiting service rankings. Neither of which mean anything when you step on the court.

They blame attendance loss that began 4 years ago on a guy who got there 2 years ago.

I hope you do fire Tubby and hire Penny. The melt downs on here will be classic, your program is an official dumpster fire and it has nothing to do with your coaches.
