Tubby doesnt want to recruit any kids that are highly rated. Him and his staff(minus Esposito) dont want to put the work into it. Hell, Tubby had Saul offering a scholly to a guy who was committed to Ouachita Baptist.

And to say Tubby doesnt want Memphis kids is completely false. He really wanted Alex Lomax and lost out to Wichita State. Which, no offense to WSU, but we shouldnt lose out to them for born and bred Memphis kids. He also has recruited Tyler Harris hard as well....looks like he is going to sign with Baylor, Misstake or UTK if Tubby comes back.

The bottom line is that Tubby and his staff are incapable of putting the effort forth to recruit in their own city let alone throughout the region or nationally at a level that will allow us to be successful.

Tubby doesn't want local kids because of the Lawson fall out and the fact that local people are telling these kids their superstars and they haven't even made it to college yet.

Unhunh lol 11 new players this year. Sounds like not recruiting.

Memphis fans deserve everything they get. They have become obsessed with local recruits and recruiting service rankings. Neither of which mean anything when you step on the court.

They blame attendance loss that began 4 years ago on a guy who got there 2 years ago.

I hope you do fire Tubby and hire Penny. The melt downs on here will be classic, your program is an official dumpster fire and it has nothing to do with your coaches.

Why are you so obsessed with Memphis? Did you go to the University of Memphis? Have you invested anything financially in the University of Memphis? Your rants about Tubby and Memphis are tiresome. If you love the guy so much, start a grassroots campaign to bring Tubby back to Tulsa.


You'd be upset if you were stuck with Frank Haith too.

I'm happy with Haith, barking up the wrong tree.

Yea he's been great.
