In Pastners last season, attendance fell from 13k to 12k. IN Tubby's 2 years, attendance fell from 12k to 6k. I'll let you do the math on which was worse.

Our attendance this season is the worst since the 1960s.

He has had the 2 worst ranked high school recruiting classes in the last 20 years of Memphis basketball.

Donations are down $1 million dollars this season on top of the lost of 6 thousand tickets per game. We are also losing 800k from the Grizzlies due to not hitting attendance guidlines. Added up that is a loss of over 3 million this year over Pastners last season.

On the court, Tubby has been responsible for:

The two worst losses in the KenPom era...@ECU and USF at home. We've never lost to a sub 300 KenPom team. Both teams were sub 300 when we lost to them.

We are going to finish below 150 in KenPom. By far our lowest ranking ever. We've only finished above 100 twice.....both of Tubby's seasons.

Our most lopsided loss to Cincy ever.

Our most lopsided loss to SMU ever.

Our most lopsided conference tournament loss ever.

Our most lopsided loss in FedExForum.

Our first loss to UAB in 15 years.

Lost 5 games by 20 points or more.

In "rivalry games", Tubby's teams are 1-6 at Memphis. 1-1 vs UAB, 0-1 vs Ole Miss, 0-3 vs Cincy, and 0-1 vs Louisville.

Pastner had this program when it had 16,000+ fans who were disappointed and fell to 13,000 his last year and led to poor season ticket sales Tubby's first year. Pastner's teams continually got worse and spent his last two years with no tourney invite for the first time in how long? Pastner's recruiting classes were great though. He left a huge cancer on the team and skipped out of town to finish killing GT's program. His teams are continually getting worse there now.


Tubby got left with the walking dead team, but hey they were high ranking recruits. We saw the destruction the cancer did the end of last year. So now Tubby went out and found the right type of kids, molded 11 new comers into a decent team and bit the bullet to clean up the mess of the previous coach and it's his fault your fans don't show up and you're rebuilding?

Tubby is nothing but mediocre and that is never going to be acceptable at Memphis. Lets say he comes back next year, maybe we squeak into the tournament but I would guess not.

We have 6 seniors next year. The best of which was not Tubby's recruit. All these JUCO's he has recruited and "built" are gone because thats almost all he recruits. So this whole process starts over with new jucos and every 2-3 years we have a bubble team. Not going to work.
