you are saying they shoud higher a steady growth guy from a mid major...and not a flash guy like penny with no experience...

my point is tubby is ssteady growth guy.....
what sense would it make to spend 9million to fire tubby to get someone like tubby but with less experience..

Tubby is "old and washed up" (not my words). The hot mid-major coach would be more like Gregg Marshall at Winthrop. You find the hottest guy in the country at a mid-major and sign him up. He'll be young and on fire and most likely brilliant at many facets of the coaching position. Then you bring on Penny to lure the recruits.
