The school already made their fame, money, exposure, prestige jump etc....pulling down a felt banner that says it happened and having an asterisk in the book next to it is worthless.


Vacated games/titles is what the NCAA came up with as penalty for the cartel teams. It makes them 'look like' they are doing something when in reality, behind closed doors, they are all laughing and patting each other on the back.

At the same time, bragging about having more "success" than another team (like he was doing) when the only difference in the success were seasons in which they cheated ... is also weak.

Just pointing out that your program isn't as good as ours. Its ok. You're still better than Tulsa and Tulane and ECU. Sure, you wont be any good once GM leaves, but you weren't any good before he got there either.
