Yeah, I hear ya. What stinks is that the Amway is about 10 minutes from my office. I wish I could take the day off and go watch some ball, go to 5 guys between the games, and then go back and eat some cold stone creamery ice cream but these proposals aren't going to write themselves......add in the drawings and CAD work I got to start on and the fact that I am about 3-4 works behind on projects, etc... and well, you get the picture.

There is a TON of construction in Florida right now. Almost as much as during the boom years before the recession. Difference now is that there are even LESS people in the industry working.

Here is a dirty little secret about construction these days: It takes almost twice as long to get a building built from concept to TCO due to the dearth of people working. Yet, there are tons of able bodied bums begging at every street corner down here....
