Seriously, though Wichita isn't a farm town at all, if Kansas is anything like Iowa, farmers up here don't have a whole lot to do between November and April. Most own RVs and take off to Arizona, Florida, or Texas for the winter or drive all over visiting children or grandkids. That's not all of their great fanbase of course, but it probably accounts for some.

Nearly all of the farmers I know went to K-state.

I would say that a lot of our travelling fanbase is retired folks plus a few using some vacation. If this party was within 8 hours drive you'd see a bunch more of us working stiffs showing up for Saturday/Sunday if we win tonight.

I will add we have a good amount of people that own their own small businesses and can financially afford to travel along with giving themselves the time to travel. I know a lot of people like that. So it is just a good mixture.
