RE: Democratic Presidential Horse Race thread
Quote:So the choice could come down to a republican I don't particularly like versus a democrat I find totally unacceptable. Kind of like most presidential elections in my lifetime.

Kind of mimics by view of McCain v. Obama. Funny thing was that eight years prior McCain was a candidate against Shrub I wholeheartedly supported (truly the last time in a Presidential run) McCain. By the time he ran against Obama, he just 'didnt have it'; his repeating of taglines ('I looked in his eyes and saw three letters -- KGB') was so bad it reminded me of Gore and the infamous 'lockbox'. Almost voted third party in that one. But didnt.

Trump / Hillary was the first time in a long time I pulled that third party lever.

Last time I pulled a lever for someone I truly supported was for Reagan.

But, to be honest, while I still wholeheartedly dislike the guy personally, and really think he is a buffoon in the way he engages in the role of President -- given what the Democratic lineup looks like I might actually pull that lever for the orange hair.
