I really don't think the left understands how much their smug, arrogant condescension really pisses people off.

You made a blanket statement that amounted to no perspectives can be evil and that suggesting that a line of thinking was evil was a totalitarian concept. I posed a hypothetical to test that blanket statement, and you in turn clarified your comment.

I could have asked how you felt about people who are Holocaust deniers. Would that have been more palatable?

Your comment was clearly lacking the context you provided later, which is that you see a distinct difference between the judgement of people based on their thoughts and their actions.

I really don't see what was offensive, unless you're very thin skinned when being asked about racial issues.
