It would be like someone at CPAC making a statement about how conservatives need to root out all the racists from the Republican Party and the crowd booing.
I don't think the boos would be as loud, because I don't think there are nearly as many racist conservatives as there are socialist democrats. I find attempts to equate the two to be totally dishonest and disingenuous.
And what policies being advanced by democrats do you find to be anti-socialist? What is being mischaracterized?
I don’t think you understood my point if you think I was saying racist conservatives would have been the ones booing...

No, I don't think the non-racists would be booing, and I don't think there are enough racists to make much noise. I know a lot of conservatives, and I can't imagine any of them booing any anti-racist remark.

This is what annoys me. The left can't stop characterizing every conservative as racist, no matter how hard the conservative denies it. But that same left gets to cozy up to socialists/communists/collectivists and their ideas, but ten deny it, "Oh, we're not socialists." At least among the democrats' presidential candidates this time around, the only ones that I wouldn't call socialists are the ones that I would call communists. And I'm not buying any of that "social democrat" nonsense. These democrats are well to the left of social democrats. Social democrats don't talk about massive redistribution of wealth and income. Democrats do. Communists do. Non-democratic socialists do.
