I bet there is not 1 of the 24 Dem candidates that Lad would NOT vote for (that's different from voting for Trump BTW). But in 2016, there were some of the 17 Republicans I would not vote for, and Trump was one.

I would be willing to be that there hasn't been a democrat presidential candidate in his lifetime that Lad would not vote for. I have voted for one republican, once--Reagan in 1980. My votes have been Hospers, MacBride, Reagan, Bergland, Paul, Marrou, Browne, Browne, Badnarik, Barr, Johnson, Johnson. I would not change a single one of those votes in retrospect. 1988 was probably the toughest one because I knew both Bush and Paul personally and liked them both. If Bush had needed my vote, he would have gotten it, but it was clear that he did not. By 1992, Bush had pissed me off with some of his moves, and again it didn't really matter in Texas.

I think Donald Trump is in many ways a disgusting human being. But that doesn't make him worse than any democrat. The closest democrat that I would come to voting for against Trump would be Hillary, who is a disgusting human being who should be in prison. In addition to being a disgusting human being, Trump has several issue positions with which I disagree--wall, tariffs to name a couple--but he doesn't have anyhow stoppers. If you want to convince me to vote for a democrat, don't give me reasons to vote against Trump, give me reasons to vote for that democrat. For starters, find me one with no drop dead show stopper positions on any of the following issues:

Gun control
Green New Deal
Border security
Redistribution of income and wealth
Reparations
Tuition-free universities and student debt forgiveness
Responses to climate change
Military readiness
Live birth abortion
