The cowbell ban was led by Tennessee head football coach Phillip Fulmer. According to Fulmer, the cowbells made it impossible to play because "I'd get hungry and my team would get hard ons".
Thanks Phil, finally did something good.

As a Rebel, the new "cowbell rule" made me laugh. As a stickler for rules, it made me smile. As both, it almost caused an orgasm just teasing...almost
Anyway, it's about time the SEC had the courage to stand behind one of their rules. The "no artificial noisemakers rule" has been in effect for ages and has NEVER been backed. It's about time that the SEC puts some teeth into rules it makes.
Hotty Toddy!!
