So how did you do in that SEC Championship game?
Must of been very exciting being you guys first time and all.
that's why they are playing Georgia Tech, so they can finally get to Atlanta.

You both went 7 and 1.....Mississippi's one loss was to LSU after Eli tripped over his own feet in his very last play at Vaught-Hemingway, and yet somehow, you're still "co-champions"....

Doesn't make ANY sense to me or anybody else outside of Oxford, Mississippi.....

Seriously though, the lady got what she deserved. She's an equal just like the rest of us around here. No need to build her up into some prize trophy that she's not. She had a brain and decided to throw it out the window in favor of hanging out with 18-24yr old students on a hill, packed to the gated entrance at that. She knew better and her defiance to the university in that letter is proof that she knows what she did was wrong and put her in that vulnerable position to begin with. My question is where was the husband in all of this?

I haven't chimed in on any of this but as a woman and an avid college fan, I have one thing to say to you....

You are a red-neck idiot....

Seriously, dude...you're killing me here.

I'm not sure if I should take it as comedy or a lack of brain cells.

Deserved it?...Is there anything with giving her a hard time? No. However, like I said before, there's a line that shouldn't be crossed.

Also, I bet if it was a black person getting this treatment you would say he/she "deserved it" because they decided to go to a place a bunch of rednecks were.

Maybe they were just upset that she wasn't carrying a beer & cigarette while pregnant...I hear it increases the chances of becoming a Rebel fan.

Don't blame us. The SEC office was the one that sent us the trophy and recognized the accomplishment. They have a website and contact information - contact them with your complaints.

Alright, alright, I'm convinced....

Guys, I'm sorry.....but I guess I'm supposed to live up to my Mississippi heritage. So when I get home, if the Diva ain't got my supper good n' ready, I'm gonna beat that woman like she ain't never been beat. Then I plan on kicking the dogs around a couple times, and then proceed to sit out on the front porch the rest of the night with a hunk of Skoal in my bottom lip, watching the bug zapper light up the 'skeeters while Hank Williams Jr's "Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound" blares over my 4 dollar speakers inside my rusted out '83 Chevy pickup...

That'll teach her to be late with my supper, by God..

But, if you want to be an "Ole Miss" redneck, make sure you're wearing a polo shirt (or white oxford & tie), khakis, and a nice mesh hat while doing everything you mentioned...they think it gives the illusion of having class.

So, using the logic that you have utilized in the rest of this thread, do our fans have the right to beat the crap out of your fans on Labor Day, just because they are buying tickets in our sections?

After all, according to you, they'll be asking for it.
