I can't disagree with any of the selections on this year's All-ACC team, or the top honors. ACC baseball has some of the most talented players out there & it is always a pleasure to watch.

I'm thrilled that Micah got ROY and so happy to see Murton get the 1st team honors he deserves (I expected E Pat & Kyle to appear on the 1st team list).

As for my Wake guys, I'm excited to see Jamie as POY. He is definitely going places in his career! Adam, Jamie & Kyle are top notch players & I'm glad to see Ryan Johnson named to 2nd team.

For COY honors, there wasn't another coach close to Avent this year. Despite having to play most of their home games at various fields around the Triangle, State excelled and finished much higher than anyone would have anticipated (State baseball in 3rd place??? 03-wink) . That is not only the result of improvement on the parts of players, but points to some great coaching!

Congrats to all of the honorees on a great season! 04-bow
