I would love it if Terry Bowden would coach the Seminoles. :D I'm don't think he would do it though... but ya never know. I can't see Chuck leaving his alma mater NCState. He's doing a GREAT job there.

Following Bobby Bowden at FSU is akin to following Joe Pa at PSU, Bo Schembechler at Michigan, Visor-Boy at Florida, The Bear at Alabama, or Knute Rockney at Notre Dame. It would be a tall order for anyone. That alone creates risk many proven coaches will not take. FSU needs a fantastic offensive mind who is not yet a household name.

Thank you for proving my pt. for me.
The strangle hold - what strangle hold - oh GTS, you must be talking about whipping every team every year. So the only one that has beaten FSU for 2 straight years in NC State and did they win the ACC conference last year? No, it was Florida State University. And Maryland won it the year before. I guess if FSU played patsy teams like The Citadel or Connecticut, instead of Miami, Colorado or Notre Dame, we could have a 11-2 record every year too...
Yuck Yuck Yuck
GT can't help it two teams lacked fortitude and pulled out of their games with us last season.

Samurai, I've been trying to tell the FSU people that over on the territory.org, but they say that's nonsense, every good coach wants to come to FSU. We can have anyone we want.
I'm going to enjoy it when FSU gets turned down cold by some of their candidates. :D
Along your lines Samurai, there are two coaches I can think of right now that would fit your description:
1. Mike Leach- current head coach of Texas Tech although rumor has it that he and the TTU administration don't get along too well. Leach has made it known he wants out ASAP if he can get a better job than TTU.
2. David Cutcliffe- current head coach of Ole Miss and has already been mentioned for some HC jobs. Cutcliffe has done amazing work with very little talent at Ole Miss. Imagine what he could do at FSU.

And a lot of folks at Ole Miss don't even appreciate what Cutcliffe has been able to do there.
I agree with you DawgNBama, and SamuraiTater. Hard to follow a legend. I sure wouldn't want to...

I am not sure what FSU is suppose to worry about, they already play them every year. I guess they need to worry about finding a good kicker for when they play them
