and how does that get them into a bowl game?

I think if Duke has a winning record... and finishes in the middle of the pack of the ACC... someone will take us... It does hurt that the Seattle Bowl is no more, however.

I really don't think dook has the fan support to make a bowl game without a tie-in (which they wouldn't have if they finished 6th). Three years ago, UNC finished 6-5 and got left out in the cold... and our fan support dwarfs dook's.

Cinderella stories are great and all, but the bowls really just care about $$$.

$$$ and publicity... they have to sell tickets... what better way to sell tickets than to come see the cinerella story?

If Duke starts winning games (which will have to happen for a bowl bid) then tickets will sell... the interest is there... just not the commitment yet.
