Nobody has stopped Howard, so that one isn't a big deal. I was sure that BJ was on Redick and Nelson/Muhammad were on Dahntay, but I could be wrong. Either way, BJ does deserve serious consideration.

I'd say Dahntay Jones stopped Josh Howard, compared to what he's done to most other teams.

The debate (if there ever was one) is officially over.

Dahntay Jones guarded BJ Elder, one of the most potent scorers in the ACC. Elder scored 6 points, had 3 rebs and 1 assist.

BJ Elder guarded JJ Redick. Redick scored 19 points, 6-7 from three and 6 assists.

Dahntay Jones... hands down.

Could it be attributed to opposing players' fear of being attacked with thug-like rage if they scored significant numbers?

:stupid: I was going to say that, but i was afraid I'd get jumped for putting in my opinion. I'm glad you said it. He doesn't have the offense he needs, but his D is UNBELIEVABLE.

I agree.Just because he doesn't score 18 a night doesn't mean he can't play D.
