Been listening to the Sounds new album recentley. Great pop from cute swedish females. Kind of a new age Joan Jett sound. Also listening to this young lady Sarah Blasko. I really want to like her, good lyrics, great voice, attractive, but I'm not sold on her yet, right now her songs are pretty boring. Though "flame trees" is a good tune. Another lady I've been digging is Emiliana Torrini. "Tuna Fish" is particularally exquisite. Have been hearing the hype surrounding the Arctic Monkeys, been checking them out. "When the sun goes down," is a good dl.

May I suggest some better Blind Melon songs?? Ok, I will. Changes, the Pusher, Tones of Home, Lemonaide, No Cavaties. Right now, I'm listening to Belle and Sebastian "your cover's blown."

I think you mean...Mouthful of Cavities and that is a great song.

Shannon Hoon, you left too soon...

That whole Soup album kicks ass.

Hey, I wouldn't mind seeing a review on the 'Artic Monkeys'. I too have heard a lot about them, but have yet to hear them.

Listening to the Cure's greatest hits album right now, BTW.

FYI, the Cure f*ckin' rocks. Listening to Seu Jorge's album "Cru." You might remember Seu Jorge from such films as the f*ckin' indredible City of God and Life Aquatic. He's got a beautiful rythym, too bad it's in Portuguese. Mellow and some solid David Bowie covers, again though, in Portuguese.

Another beautiful voice. I've mentioned her before, Emiliana Torrini. I've been listening to a lot of crap lately. Trying to find some good bands via amazon ("what other cds people who bought this cd bought"), and I'll I've heard is pure boredom. Josh Ritter is another great story teller. Also listening to the Stars first (I think) album, "Nightsongs." Their most recent cd, "Set yourself on fire" is great. Also been checking out another beautiful voice in Eliza Gilkyson. Got some country twang in it. Great music, I'd say a cross between Bonnie Rait and Lucinda Williams.

The Game: THe Documentary...
...Westside Story, Dreams, and How We Do are the top songs on that cd!!

Well right now I am delving back into my hobby of drawing lowriders/custom cars and need some music to draw too so.... The Game: THe Documentary, Ludacris: Red Light District, Nelly: Sweat & Suit, Jay Z: THe Black Album. ...nothing like some gangsta sh** to draw too. Metal just doesn't get the creative juics flowing for drawing hooked up cars 03-weeping 04-rock

...Also the music is to get me in the mood for the big car show in Greenville at the end of April. Slamsession ROCKS!!!

Flyer for show:

And I'll be changing out the cds in my car changer for the correct music as well 03-idea 04-rock

I don't believe the hype surrounding them. I've d/l a bunch of their tunes. Some of them are decent. I particularlly like the tracks "Cigarette Smoke" and "A Certain Romance." Give me some Elbow!!!
