Currently, there are thousands of people packed into the Cajundome here in Lafayette in a designated Red Cross shelter. The place is in desparate need of supplies (i.e. food, water, baby items, etc.), but has no money to do so. The wonderful people of Acadiana have stepped up to the plate and have given en masse to help out these people with items that some of y'all won't be able to give (distance being the main reason why). We've come together before to raise money to help ncaabbs.com before, now it's time to come together to help people who are in great need.
