If I were to do my top 50 songs of all time, most would belong to Pink Floyd. They're probably one of those bands that either you really like them or you absolutely hate them. When I was younger, my friends and I who made a garage band would try to emulate Pink Floyd and their music. Unfortunately we weren't that good at all, but hey it was something for us to do. Musically and vocally, I think they are unmatched by anyone. I like many types of music, and many differnet artists, but for me, they are the Gods of Rawk.

Vocally? None of the were very good singers. If you meant they had a particular sound, then yes they did that well. But I wouldn't say they were unmatched vocally.

One of my favorite bands of all time. I particularly like the stuff before Dark Side, however.

Anyone else own Syd Barrett's Solo releases?

They had that peculiar sound and I always thought they had such unique vocals - one of the things that I always loved about them - even the raspy voice of Roger Waters. Im a fan of all the eras of the Floyd.

Yeah. I've done it a few times, and no I don't smoke pot. :D

Once in Toledo there was a group that came through and played dark side with the wizard of oz and a had a laser light show in the art museum theatre.

As for how it looks, there are moments where you could swear they had to have planned the whole thing, then there are times when your sittign there desperately trying to find somethign that matches. In my opinion it's either a coincidence or they planned it really well leaving in times where nothing coincided to keep people guessing.
