...meanwhile her parents, lifelong friends, best friends, siblings, etc. says she doesn't believe in that. There is a reason that Michael is refusing to allow her to have an autopsy and that he will cremate her once she has passed.
Sadistic ****.

Good Lord, the woman has been living in a coma for 15 years. I've seen the videos and I can't tell if this is a "response" to her or just an involuntary movement. Either way, its none of my business, this is a family issue. Sad that politicians have to rush in and get political brownie points during this.

Do you know what a coma is fsquid? She's NOT in a coma. Yes, it's a family issue. THAT'S the debate. Why should people side with the family that wants her dead? YOU don't think there's something inherently wrong with that? He's not even family anymore. He's been with a woman for years and has two kids from someone OTHER than Terri.

Carla Sauer Iyer Affidavit
September 2003
AFFIDAVIT
STATE OF FLORIDA )
COUNTY OF PINELLAS )
BEFORE ME the undersigned authority personally appeared CARLA SAUER IYER, R.N., who being first duly sworn, deposes and says:
1. My name is Carla Sauer Iyer. I am over the age of eighteen and make this statement of my own personal knowledge.
2. I am a registered nurse in the State of Florida, having been licensed continuously in Florida from 1997 to the present. Prior to that I was a Licensed Practical Nurse for about four years.
3. I was employed at Palm Garden of Largo Convalescent Center in Largo, Florida from April of 1995 to July 1996, while Terri Schiavo was a patient there.
4. It was clear to me at Palm Gardens that all decisions regarding Terri Schiavo were made by Michael Schiavo, with no allowance made for any discussion, debate or normal professional judgment. My initial training there consisted solely of the instruction “Do what Michael Schiavo tells you or you will be terminated.

BTW, listening to her priest, while she's dying, he can't even go in and pray for her. ****ing death row inmates get afforded that. :bang:

Also, while the debate is going(inmate's case, an appeal), they ARE protected. The ****ing left in this country treats mass murderers better than Terri Schiavo.
KEEP in mind, damnit, her husband's statement about her wanting to die if in that situation ISSSSSS speculation. It is NOT proven. With that said, you people still want her dead? PA-****ING-THETIC!!!! I spent 8 years of my life defending this country. Maybe I should have said, "Ahh, it ain't worth it". ...because, as of now, I don't see that it is.

The woman has been a veg for 15 years, I'd probably do the same thing. Doesn't mean that he stopped caring about her. The only thing I wish they would do is give her some morphine while she passes.

She's not a vegetable, she's not in a coma, she's not on life support. You are wishing to murder this girl simply because you wouldn't want to live that way.

She look like a vegetable? At one time, she was considered as such.

ok, that's one person. I will continue to believe the majority in the medical profession that believes that nothing short of a major medical miracle will help this woman. Let her go to the upper room, where she will be whole again and free from pain.

No need to, the portion of her brain that feels pain and hunger is COMPLETELY GONE, as in non-existent.
As far as Dr. William Hammesfahr goes, the people he treated had brain damage that was nowhere near the extent of Terri's. Terri's brain is not only damaged, it's not even there anymore. If you opened her head you would find spinal fluids and some blood vessels. Her brain stem near where the spine meets the brain is still in tact, but that's about it. The only way she could recover is with a BRAIN TRANSPLANT. Those don't exist.

You'll continue to believe that at the cost of one human being? Tell me, who in the hell KNOWS what is going on in her mind? Is that gamble worth the risk? If so, do me a favor, don't visit Vegas, or Sam's Town, and don't get into a serious car wreck. Litigation is set by precedent. This precedent is one that will bite you liberals in the ***.

This article is nothing but propaganda from a conservative site. Don't even try to pass that as a legimate argument. In any case, Kate Adamson was in a coma, but her brain was still largely intact. Terri's is not. It's like compairing a broken leg to an amputation. Not even close.

Yeah, courts can't be wrong either. When you have two separate groups of doctors debating, you don't ****ing throw the switch. Like Torch said, you people pick and choose which courts you want to believe in.
It is MY contention that he gave up his rights when he left her for another woman and had two kids.

Yeah, because you were somehow connected to Kate and knew what she was thinking. She wasn't in a vegetative state because you say so, right?

Did he not seek treatment for her from 1990 through 1998?? Seems like enough time to me. Only then did he ask the tube to be removed, that's when a set of parents who can't let go (and understandably so) got the courts involved.

Her parents stated they would grant a divorce. They want her kept alive. YOU ****ing people are siding with a piece of **** that moved in with another woman and had children by her. Typical.
