If you are locked out of your car and have a remote at home you can get the signal sent over your cell phone to open the car. What will they think of next?

Aim the remote at the mike on the phone and aim the cell phone receiver at the door. Works like a charm.

Not sure if it is really true or not. I am going to try and open my wifes car from home while she is at work. We shall see then if it really is true or not.

I saw that on quite a few urban legend sites being false. Something about phones transmitting sound waves and the RKE's transmitting radio waves... I don't know?? Just what I read...

This didn't sound true at first, would be like shining a flashlight into your phone and having it come out on the other phone.
