don't take those numbers too seriously. he did it against the giants defense. the same defense that was picked apart by kyle boller, and gave up 31 points to a team that hadn't scored over 20 the entire season (redskins). at least against the ravens i knew all of the players on our D. last night, there were two players on the D i had never even heard of. and we had our 3rd string SS starting.

I wasn't even specifically talking about his game against the Giants.

He's done great against many teams since his return from the injury. My response was directed to his play during the entire season--not bad for a rookie I might say.

oh, you misunderstood me, and i, you. he has been great this season. in fact he's been excellent. i have him on my fantasy team (which won the league). i thought you were talking only about his performance against us. that was his best game. it was so, because he played against our defense.

Let's put Greene on the same Giants team.

He'd fail a HELLUVA lot worse than Eli. He's ALWAYS had a better team than Eli in College and he hasn't played pro yet. IMO, David Greene is mediocre.

....and if last nights game is any indicator of how he will perform in the future, the Giants will be a force to reckon with. Strahan and the rest are coming back this season.

Yes Tasha, Julius Jones is freaking awesome. I was VERY impressed with what he did with his size.

IMO, you know nothing about college football. David Greene is the winningest QB in D-1 history, is the SEC's all-time leader in passing yardage, total yardage, and a holds a slew of other records. On top of that, he won the SEC title in 2002 and won the SEC East in 2002 and 2003.

Don't be so sensitive about Eli. He's going to be a great pro. I know you hate for me to slam someone who went to precious Ole Miss, but I just don't like the guy, and thus, hope he fails.

IMO, you're a homer. He played more years than Eli and even the experts will tell you he's not a stellar player. What makes him good? His line, receivers, and RB's. You cannot forget that when talking about his "greatness". The Bulldogs have been better all around than the Rebels in the past years. You do have power-players on your team. I just don't think Greene is one of them. Will he be drafted? In a heartbeat. However, Pollack, even though people I know said he's too small, will be great in the NFL.

Do me a favor, don't say I don't know anything about college FB when I have been watching it longer than you've been alive.

....and, ......using your logic, the coach for Grambling is a better coach than Richt, Petrino, Bowden, Spurrier, Paterno, Saban, and Carroll.

Georgia would not be half the team we are without David Greene. You can say that we have a great team around him, but I disagree. Our receivers suck, and last year he had no running game or offensive line. When we go 7-4 next year you'll see how big of an impact he had on our team.

I'm not a homer. I call it as I see it. I'm not afraid to point out if we have guys like Gibson or Reggie Brown who are extremely overrated. But Greene is a college football legend.

Oh, I'm sorry for saying that. You know a lot about college football. You just don't know a great deal about Georgia football, which is such a huge part of my life. But, I don't pretend to know much about Ole Miss football either.
