Creighton kicked Mizzou's butt all over their new home court. They'd be my #1 vote in a mid-jaor poll.

The teams in the major and mid-major conferences are much more evened out in basketball. They are totally equal in baseball... the mid-majors are serious threats to win national titles (Cal-State Fullerton, Pepperdine, Long Beach State, Wichita State, etc.).

I wouldn't put anything past Creighton this year... they have a sparkling new 17,000 seat arena (the only nice building in Omaha, period) and they'll be tough come tourney time.
