...as expected, since Utah gets a BCS nod.

I expect Utah and others to have an easier time getting in the BCS, as the Big East is gonna lose their automatic spot. When a 6-5 Syracuse team has a chance for a BCS bowl, the Big East is in trouble.

Just a sidenote though...

'01-02 season - Oregon was AP #2 and should've been in the Rose Bowl facing Miami. The BCS awarded the title game berth to Nebraska, who didn't win their conference (or division), and who had 2 losses, one in a blowout to Colorado. Big 12 screws over Pac -10.

'03-04 season - Southern Cal, with one loss, should've faced off against LSU in the Sugar Bowl. The BCS awards the title game berth to Oklahoma, who didn't win their conference, and despite their blowout loss the night before to Kansas State. Big 12 advantage, screwing Pac-10 again.

'04-05 season - The BCS is again set to side with the Big 12 team (Oklahoma), this time over an undefeated Auburn team from the SEC.

Despite the Liberty not being considered a "marquee" bowl, I really like this matchup. Both Boise State & Louisville have been exciting teams this year & this should be a high-scoring game on both sides.
