anyone being effected?
made landfall at 9:15 AM today
Tropical Storm Gaston is shown making landfall over the southeast coast of the U.S. in this NOAA satellite taken at 9:15 a.m. EDT, Sunday, Aug. 29, 2004. Gaston blasted the South Carolina coast with rain and 70 mph wind early Sunday as the eye of the storm pushed ashore just short of hurricane strength. A flash flood watch was in effect for most of the coast, and Charleston's mayor, Joseph P. Riley Jr., urged those who had not evacuated to stay indoors. (AP Photo/NOAA)

Amazing how that thing came out of nowhere. Hope everyone is OK. I hope it pushes up the coast and stalls over NYC. It will cleanse the unwashed masses. :roflol:

Nothing south of Chapel Hill yet but we are mere yards from the Chatham County line where they are under a thunderstorm/flash flood/tornado watch.
