I heard this morning that the IOC has told Greece that they need to get spectators in the seats...NOW. Even if they have to give away tickets.

OK, call this doomed. Because if you even were modertately interested in a few events (or say a few more events if you've travelled there purposely to see the games) what are you going to buy now? NOTHING.

Now people realize that if they hold out, then Greece will have to GIVE away tickets (or cut prices dramatically). There is NO incentive to buy now.

I guess all these quasi-socialist europeans just got a lesson in business and marketing.
