Well first off I made a mistake on the trivia. Only Clapton appears under four different guises: solo, Derek and the Dominos, the Yardbirds and Cream.
Three appearence members are:
Jimmy Page- Yardbirds, Zeppelin, the Firm
Robert Plant- solo, Zeppelin and the Honeydrippers and
Steven Stills- Buffalo Springfield, CSNY and solo. I mistakenly thought he was w/ the Hollies as well.
Anyway, we break into the top 200. And if you figure the age of Classical Rock has been around for over 40 years, these average the top 5 songs/year. That's some sweet action!
Let's start
200 Age of Aquarius - Cowsills<- Gimme lots of hair.
199 Take the Money and Run - Steve Miller
198 Jailhouse Rock - Elvis Presley
Ok, let's pause here. Listen up classical rock program directors...this is the f'n KING. This song says even says "Rock". This song ROCKS. Why do I have to suffer through some Elton John agony while this gets relegated to the "oldies" station? Get a clue, they're all old now!
197 Strong Persuader - Robert Cray
196 Electric Co - U2
195 Rikki Don't Lose that Number - Steely Dan
194 Another Tricky Day - The Who<-Fella
193 It Don't Come Easy - Ringo Starr
192 Jack and Diane - John Mellencamp
191 Hello I Love You - The Doors
190 Shattered - Rolling Stones<- Was #1 on some Cleveland station back in the day. But, Nah.
189 Sitting on the Dock of the Bay - Otis Redding<- Too low?
188 Golden Years - David Bowie
187 Walk this Way - Aerosmith
186 Hungry Heart - Bruce Springsteen
185 Cult of Personality - Living Color<- Another song that gets ignored. Why? :bang:
184 Taking Care of Business - BTO<- Word up.
183 Late in the Evening - Paul Simon<- Even as a kid, I knew there was something suspicious when he "stepped outside to smoke myself a 'J'"
182 Give Blood - Pete Townshend
181 Hello, Goodbye - Beatles
Hello indeed, to the best of the best, Classical Rock!

I knew you were messing with me!! I was racking my brain!
Hollies = Graham Nash.
BTW - Neil Young was also in Buffalo Springfield, so you can add him to the three-timers list.

Ugh, no.

Yes.

See my signature for my social commentary on vices.

Wasn't intentional, it was an honest mistake.
Was Neil Young w/ Buffalo Springfield when they did "For What it's Worth"? As you probably guessed, that's their tune on the list.

Yes he was. He and Stills formed Buffalo Springfield.
