There are not 43 teams between UNC and NC State either way, I promise you that....

If you think that Clemson will end up #5 in the conference then you're crazy. I'm pumped up about this football season and the way that people are disrespecting our football program. I've seen everything from being ranked #8 to #5 just because we lost Dantzler. You guys do remember that we've been a pretty solid football program for almost ever in the ACC.

Nah...Florida State and NC St, about right. Ga
Tech and Clemson are underrated. Maryland is
overrated. Carolina will finish 6th...then Va
then Wake. Duke at 101 is probably over-rated!

FSU to win the ACC can be reasonable, but #1 nationally??

Actually, the highest I've seen is <a href="http://www.collegefootballnews.com/acc/2002_Previews/2002_ACC_PreviewFREE.htm" target="_blank">this one</a>, which has us as #2 in the ACC.

I'm not going to defend or condemn anyone's preseason predictions. IMO, nobody really has a clue what is going to happen -- although they all think they do -- and I'd just rather forget about predictions....

The ONLY poll that counts is the one that comes out at the end of the season, after all the bowl games have been played, way too much hoopla in this poll business. I havent seen a poll yet that picked the right top 25 teams from beginning to end, thats highly impossible. Until someone can tell me in August who the top 25 teams will be at the end of the year, then its worthless. I've seen teams in the top 10 no where to be seen at the end of the year and I've seen teams at the bottom of the top 25 making some noise at the end of the year. The only thing I will go on is the team that makes Sports Illustrated's pre season football cover can forget about their season. Just dont put the NOLES on there!!!!

The the guy every learns how to read defenses and throw the pass more consistently, he's going to be a superstar.

BTW, Tech's defense will be the strong point this year in winning games. (Refer to Stanford)

With Bill O'Bee behind the helm and stack piles of talent - I'm feeling pretty good.
