I don't watch any proffesional sports except for the occasional playoff game or finals, the NFL is probably the most watchable, the NBA is whack and baseball is pretty boring as well, although last year the playoffs were exciting.

Those are probably my favorite sports in order there is a huge dropoff after #1 and #3.

after watching that UNC-Duke game last night, it's pretty obvious how much better the NBA is.

5 years ago I might have said College was better because of the more fundamental play. But because of all the players leaving early the college game has become just as sloppy as the NBA but without the star power.

College is better because of the rivalries.

College is better because of the pagentry.

College is better because it's more team-oriented.

I could go on and on...

That being said, I do like the NBA. I just don't think it's nearly as good as college hoops.

Their is no excitement whatsoever until you get to the playoffs. College basketball is exciting year round. Who wants to watch a bunch of people who can take a day off compared to a bunch of guys that are scrambling, pressing, running as hard as tyhey can to win a game. NBA players can take a play or two off and still get paid the same amount.
