You all were probably reading it anyway, since BG is the most exciting team in sports entertainment and your team is probably some candy-****** wannabe

Funny how schedules look weak...when you win! Whoooo!

For perspective, BG is better than Memphis! :roflol:

I'm not the one saying my team is the most exciting in sports entertainment when you aren't even f-ing ranked. We call those people "Homers". You don't even PLAY Memphis this year so your words don't mean jack shiznit. We beat Florida last year and lost to Texas Tech. Again, you have a VERY weak schedule. You beat a questionable Purdue and the only OTHER ranked team you play shouldn't even BE #3 as they beat a sorry assed, unranked team by 3 friggin' points.

Bowling Green in the SEC= Vanderbilt.

Check out all these "Powerhouses" people:

BG's schedule:

Eastern Kentucky
Purdue
Liberty
No. 3 Ohio State
Central Michigan
Western Michigan
Eastern Michigan
Northern Illinois
Miami (OHIO)
Kent State
Ball State
Toledo

...and to put it in perspective:

Ole Miss's Schedule:

Vanderbilt
Memphis
Louisiana Monroe
Texas Tech
No. 20 Florida (SHOULD have beat Miami)
Arkansas State
Alabama (WILL be ranked)
Arkansas (WILL be ranked)
South Carolina (WILL be ranked...if they keep the same play)
Auburn (Will eventually start winning again)
No. 11 LSU
Mississippi St.

Can you say that many of the teams you are playing WILL be ranked?

We call them fans.

And check out BG's ranking on offense for the past 2 years. Not my fault if Josh Harris is better than your versioin of a Manning!

I would HARDLY call Vanderbilt the "Top Academic University in the SEC". Read and compare the accomplishments. What set's Vandy aside is that they are private. They have their accomplishments and the others have theirs.

As far as Manning (No, we don't have a version, we have the real one), he'd run circles around Harris. Let's talk when Eli gets into the NFL and IF Harris does. A fan isn't someone that blindly states his/her team is the most exciting in sports entertainment, hence that's why the column was in "BG News" and not the Washington Post. I'm an Ole Miss AND UGA fan but you DAMN sure wouldn't hear me say something as stupid as, "Ole Miss" would mop the floor with, say, Oklahoma.

Let us know when reality comesaknockin'.

Yes Kev, Let's read the accomplishments

<a href='http://espn.go.com/ncaa/news/2003/0529/1560644.html' target='_blank'>SEC Members</a>

Quote:As far as Manning (No, we don't have a version, we have the real one), he'd run circles around Harris.

Really?

Harris, one of 26 finalists for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, given to the nation's top senior quarterback, has piled up big numbers. Last year he rushed for 737 yards and 20 touchdowns and passed for 2,425 yards with 19 TDs.

2002
Name Team G QBRat Att Comp Pct Yds Y/G Y/A TD Int
Eli Manning MISS 15 126.7 562 327 58.2 3968 264.5 7.1 26 17
Josh Harris BGSU 14 129.8 419 238 56.8 3047 217.6 7.3 23 13

2003
Josh Harris BGSU 2 158.7 66 40 60.6 622 311.0 9.4 5 2
Eli Manning MISS 2 133.5 81 48 59.3 567 283.5 7.0 5 2

Next time do your research, RebelDope.

Quote:Let's talk when Eli gets into the NFL and IF Harris does.

No, let's discuss what I wrote, instead of you throwing a hissy-fit over what might happen. Harris is lighting it up now. Check out BG's ranking on offense over the last 2 seasons. (Hint: it's about 40 spots higher than Miss :roflol: )

Harris will probably excel in the NFL, but no one can predict the future.

Meanwhile, your team would be a bottom feeder in CUSA.

Welcome to reality

Sure is taking you a long time to reply. You don't have enough memory upstairs to make a coherent argument without deleting some files from your brain? What are you running on, about 64Mbs of memory?

As far as your stats, allow me to bold ELI'S numbers over Harris:

2002

Oh, and here you go:

<a href='http://espn.go.com/ncf/heisman/index.html' target='_blank'>Eli Above Punkass Harris in the Heisman Race</a>

It DOES matter if the team the QB plays for actually PLAYS someone.

As usual, a pathetic effort at an insult, and a weak reply.

You brought up the NFL, and the NFL goes by QB ranking. (Yes, that is your face on the floor. You may want to pick it up before it gets stepped on.)
In your own words, Harris runs circles around junior. And these are passing stats, Harris is an order of magnitude better than junior when it comes to rushing.

The numbers you highlight aren't relevent because they indicate different amounts of playing time. Harris played less than 2 qtrs against EKU...meanwhile Eli is in full time because Ol Miss is always trying to come from behind.

I wonder how Ol Miss will fare against the SBC? Good thing you guys didn't schedule a tough team like North Texas.

Like the defending national champs?

Hmm, those SBC teams are looking tougher every week.

If and when you beat them, then come talk to me.

Besides, OSU is NOTHING like they were last year. They beat a no name by 3 damn points last weekend (13-16). Last season doesn't mean a damn thing. UGA won the SEC AND the Sugar Bowl but, although I am a fan, I don't think they are the strongest in the SEC right now.

This is 2003.

Hey, that ***** started in on me but if you want some, let's go.

Being a Toledo Rocket ( ) fan, you really have NO room to talk about ANY SEC team.
