Quote:Again, when did the government get into marriage?

Quote:It happened incrementally and we never noticed.

Maybe there is a correlation here.

Yes, in your opinion, marriage is a religious union. I don't know if you're married. I don't know if you planned to be married in a church, by a priest. That's certainly your decision. If you want marriage to be religious, then have at it. Like witty's been saying - it's not all religious.

I for one will not be marrying with any religious intent.

Macy's day parade isn't honoring Macy's but a Veterans Day parade IS honoring Veterans. Should they NOT be honored?

Please tell me, why should homosexuals be honored? Hell, why should heterosexuals be honored, for that matter?

I lived in Atlanta for a while and the damn Gay Pride "Parades" were a damn travesty. RIGHT in the damn middle of Atlanta and around kids. Bare-assed men, topless dikes, yep, they gotta lotta class.

Please show me where "Marriage" is written in ANY founding documents. I can show you marriage in the Bible many times.

Go to Atlanta during theirs and THEN talk. Heterosexuals would be jailed for the same actions but since they're gay, they get away with it. Why? Politics and perception. Anything against actions by gays, even if it's RIGHT!, is perceived as "Anti-Gay". Kinda like anyone saying anything against affirmative action is branded a racist. Like I said, it would put Mardi Gras to shame.

Is something along the lines of 'freedom to assemble' anywhere in your sacred governmental texts?

Edit: Because grammar isn't a friend of mine at the moment.

They don't see the children with their parents shopping? Yeah friggin' right. Like I said, go there first. Otherwise, your opinions mean not a DAMN thing. They have an "In your face" and "Entitlement" attitude.

Any argument against homosexuality is going to be flawed if it's based on religion, just because not everyone in the US is a christian.

Rebelkev, what was so bad about the gay pride parade? Please explain...

Blatant disregard for the general public and common public decency.
