Since the Olsen Twins turned 18 I was expecting something else...

NEW YORK — Mary-Kate Olsen, the brunette half of the Olsen twins entertainment empire, has entered a treatment facility "to seek professional help for a health-related issue," her publicist said Tuesday.

Us Weekly and People magazines reported that Olsen has an eating disorder and entered the unidentified treatment center during the past few days.

Olsen's publicist, Michael Pagnotta, would not comment on those reports.

Us Weekly said Olsen is anorexic.

Mary-Kate and her sister, Ashley, turned 18 on June 13. They recently graduated from high school and plan to attend New York University in the fall.

They've been acting together since they were 9 months old, most notably on the sitcom "Full House" and in a series of direct-to-video movies. They've also attached their names to a line of products ranging from clothing to beauty items to home decorating merchandise.

Their big-screen debut, "New York Minute," did poorly at the box office after its May release.

Only one of them was diagnosed with an eating disability but they both look like crack whores.

Neither of the Olsen twins are hot, I prefer to use my eyes looking at Tara Reid, Anna Kournikova and Beyonce.

Im not surprised they look a bit gaunt.

As a fellow female, who is the same age as the Olsen twins.....they're NOT that pretty. I dont find the stick like, non-puberty looking females that pretty. I dunno...thats my own opinion...

Look, I'm skinny (not as skinny as her obviously...if I was, I'd have a problem), but I find it pretty harsh when people talk about thin people as if they have the right to comment on someone's body just cause the person is small. Thin people cannot make fun of someone for being large without being scolded, so be careful about judging smaller people as well.

the difference is that people starve themselves to be stick thin...............that's what is gross. granted some women are naturally thin, but they don't have that ghostly appearance. being a bit curvey myself, i couldn't imagine myself stick thin.

true dat. my younger sister used to get teased about being a "stick" and was told to eat something, but in reality it was later found out that her thinness was a result of Crohn's Disease. People still say things to her, and its not right, because they will come up and be like "you are so skinny" and she could never walk up to a random person on the street and say "wow you're fat" without getting the beat down.

on the topic of MK Olsen, its sad that she is afflicted with this, but at least she is getting help. Hopefully she is able to overcome, though it will be a struggle.

that i believe is James White during a dunk contest at last year's midnight madness. he actually tried it a couple times and just couldn't get the ball through the basket, but it was still very impressive.
