Do you think these yo yo's will sell a nuke to the terrorists? That is my biggest concern.

Nothing, but that is their best bet and closest target to drop a nuke on us.

And, Hoops, calm down drama queen.

That's my mindset as well, Rick. The next most prevalent thought is the reinstatement of the Draft. At the risk of sounding unmanly, I have very little desire to be shipped off. That said, if I do have to go. . . I'm taking my frustrations out on the other guy (at least I hope I keep that attitude).

I wouldn't be in a hurry to be on the front lines, but I would be in a hurry to drop a nuke on Sagamucharimagarohunguru's palace.

Use my method.... if you know you'll get drafted, enter the Air Force. (That way you have a choice).

I'd rather fly over the bad guy and drop bombs than sh*t in my helmet and cook in it later.

Rumsfeld is meeting in Munich with many Nato/UN nations discussing the situation at hand in the middle east, it appears the US is ready to move in and oust Sadaam and his regime with or without the US, Rumsfeld stated quite bluntly that if the UN doesn't act in the next few days, they will lose credibility and leverage on the global level and the US may in fact move in without their backing.

France and Germany are still opposed to any military action and thousands protested outside the meeting. From what I see on TV and read it seems many of these protesters are ignorant of world events and are simple making blanket statements to support their views. Don't these nations realize if Iraq and other countries acquire weapons of mass destruction and CBR they will be hit before the US!

Think about this. What if Iraq decided to strike a landmark/embassy in France? Do they really think they could retaliate on their own? If so, they're sadly mistaken. You know and they know that the good ol' troops of the red, white, and blue would have their back on something like that. We always do. So what the hell is the big deal? Why can't they stick their necks out on the line for us once? Unless it gets really nasty, the French troops won't even have to be called in. If they would've simply agreed that force is the way to go, Saddam would have been a pile of ashes by now.

It baffles me.

After freeing Germany of Hitler and then aiding them through the Berlin airlift, and saving those p****y Frenchies from total annihilation multiple times... all we get in return is this?

WELL, NEXT TIME YOU NEED THE US TO BAIL YOUR ARSE OUT, BETTER HOPE YOUR ENEMY HAS MERCY.

Make no Mistake the US is not afraid nor intimidated by Korea. We are also not ignoring them, the fact is we are already commited to the Iraq situation and once it is settled militarly then Korea will become the main focus, they too are walking a thin line.

LL, are you confident that we CAN'T take Saddam?

That's a joke. We now have locations to fly in from, ship in from and air space permission. And once we have all of that, there's nothing stopping the military machine known as the US.
