As everyone knows, one of the nicer features at the new Comcast Center is the state of the art jumbotron, well last night during the umbc game, the greatest thing happened. At halftime, the usually scan the crowd and put people's mugs up on the screen for everyone to see, well at one point they focused on this little guy (probably about 4-7, i would say) he was dancing around and having a great time..problem was...HE WAS WEARING A DUKE SHIRT!!!! Well, as soon as everyone in the arena (and I mean everyone) realized this, the boos cascaded down. It was hysterical! You could see the kid just crumble when he realized that everyone was booing him...they left him up there for a good while and the boo's were deafening by the time he sat down and broke into tears!!!

CLASSIC..I just can't wait until January 18...

Classy!

Hey, you know what happened when Juan Dixon was introduced at the all star charity game at Duke? He got a standing ovation.

Ya know what happens when some little kid Duke fan just goes to watch a Maryland game, he gets booed into tears. You guys have a lot to be proud of.

ok..Juan Dixon deserves a standing ovation wherever he goes...especially at Cameron

nate, you need to grow up if you want to compare Dixon and some little tot whose father was more at fault for the ridacule than anyone else...

I could care less though, it was hysterical...

Well, hypothetically speaking, if Shane Battier came to the Comcast center. What do you think would happen?

a) get a bottle chucked at him
b) get booed
c) get other random things thrown at him
d) all of the above

I think we know the answer.

but for a charity game...um, nah who am I kidding...we would boo the ****** out of him and love every minute of it....

this is a better comparison, I agree..I would like to see what would happen to a little kid with a maryland t shirt on at Duke....just curious...

Well, we don't pan across the audience or whatever, but I don't think we'd cheer (of course not) or boo, I think we'd just let him be.

Say you have the Maryland Charity game. What would happen to Shane? Happy now?
