The only thing i saw was "second tier" doctoral school. So if you want to get a Ph.D at Clemson you would be going to a "second tier" school, but OVERALL i saw nothing about Clemson being a second tier school.

Actually that ranking does include undergraduate studies as well.

Actually that's great, but but many other factors that can't be measured should figure in your decision, including the school's cost, the availability of aid, the feel of campus life, and the setting and geographic location.

Agreed, there's really no way to categorize a college for a student, it varies from kid to kid.

So true! I loved it at Clempzin but I know Boy would not like it there. All college choices are very personal. I grew up with the parental assumption that I would attend Wake Forest but I didn't even apply. I knew it wasn't the right fit for me.
